Tadaima (meaning ‘I’m Home’ in Japanese) is my 93 page riso travel diary made while on a 3 month residency at Studio Kura, Itoshima, Japan. It details my experiences and emotions while on the residency through a collection of comics, sketches, collages, photos and cafe reviews.

Tadaima is a sensitive and introspective exploration of what ‘home’ means to the individual-what needs to be present for a place to feel like ‘home’? This is a story of how I found ‘home’ in an unlikely place.
